He was born on 19 October in the Algabas village, Barshatas region.
After graduating the philological faculty of the Kazakh State Pedagogical Institute named after Abai, he worked as a literary associate and head of the department of the newspaper «Leninshil zhas», columnist magazine «Ara», and the deputy editor of «New Movie».
His first poetry collection «First groove» was published in 1955.
Then were published the books of satirical poems and stories «Topol thorn» (1958), «Instantly learned» (1960), «Winged Dream» (1961), «Windbag» (1965), «Crooked Mirror» (1969), «Magarych» (1967), «On the mirror there is nothing to blame» (1969). In 1970 he published a collection of poetry dedicated to the 100 anniversary of Lenin's birth – «Ninety days», then a collection of poems «Feat» (1978). Satirical fables and poems were translated into Russian language.
He was awarded the medal «For development of virgin lands».
