Musatayuly Shaikhy (1870-1962) was a member of the Alash movement.

He was born in 1870 at the foot of the Myrzyk Mountain. Grandson of the famous kuishi Tattimbet Kazangapuly. He graduated from the Omsk City Gymnasium. After graduating from the gymnasium, he worked for a long time as a translator in the Karkaraly district. In 1917, arriving in Semipalatinsk (now Semey), he took part in the Alash movement. He was a member of the committee of the Semipalatinsk region (now East Kazakhstan region) of the government of Alash-Orda. Being in the ranks of the committee members, he was sent to Pavlodar, Semipalatinsk and Ust-Kamenogorsk counties together with M. Maldybaev and M. Auezov to explain the idea of the Alash party. After the establishment of Soviet power and the liquidation of the government, Alash-Orda moved to the Zhambyl region in the Merke district. After the end of the Great Patriotic War, he returned to Semipalatinsk (now Semey), then lived in Ayaguz, where he died in 1962
