Kakeev Oraz (1937-2002) - singer, actor, director, improviser, the best worker of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR, Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan.
He was born in the village of Kensai, Zaisan district, East Kazakhstan region. In 1955 he graduated from the M. Auezov school in Zaisan and entered vocational school. In the same year, he participated in the republican singing competition on behalf of the school and won (he was 17 years old). Jury members E. Serkebaev and B. Tulegenova offered to stay to study at the conservatory. In 1958 , Oraz K. He did military service in Belarus. During the service, he took part and won the competition of singers of the military district and was invited to the Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble. After the service, he returned to his native lands (1961) and became the director of the Zaisan Folk Theater, where he developed amateur performances and staged performances. In the productions he played the roles of: Syrym ("Karagoz" by M. Auezov), Ospan ("Jamila" by Sh. Aitmatov). Both images were presented on the Kremlin stage and were warmly received by the Moscow public. This work was highly appreciated, at the age of 23 he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR and the Order "Badge of Honor". In 1970-1972, Oraz Kakeev raised the art of the Markakolsky district and gave a lot of effort so that the theater of the district received the title of "People's Theater". In 1973, he achieved great success as a singer in the ensemble of the internal affairs bodies of the city of Almaty. From 1974 until the end of his life (2002) he was the director of the Zaisan Theater. Kakeev O. is the creator of the ensemble "Ainakol" and later it became known as "folk". In 1973, he took part in regional competitions in Kazaksha kures, took 1st place in the heavyweight up to 93 kg. In 1984, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Kenen Azerbayev's birth, he won the main prize in aitys. In 1987, he took part in the Song and Dance Festival in Moscow, which was attended by representatives of 15 republics, was awarded the VDNH medal and the laureate medal. In May 1988, as part of the Kazakh Orchestra of National Instruments, he performed songs in Bulgaria (Plovdiv, Sofia). In 2001, he received a letter of thanks from the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Kakeev Oraz passed away in 2002.
