Ataev Zhanadil Abdramanovich (1946) - honored sambo and judo coach. Honorary citizen of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

He was born on May 10, 1946 in the village of Karabulak, Zaisan district, East Kazakhstan region. In 1974, Zhanadil Atayev graduated from Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Physical Culture.

From 1975 to 1980, he taught the subject of physical culture at the Lenin boarding school in Ust-Kamenogorsk, where he also engaged in coaching, teaching sambo skills to schoolchildren. Zhanadil Abdramanovich devoted many years to teaching this art to students of the Dzhambul boarding school in the regional center. 

From 1984 to 1989 he was the chairman of the voluntary society "Kairat". Since 1989, before going on a well-deserved rest, he was a judo coach and helped many of our countrymen achieve high achievements in this sport.

In 1995, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

In 2006, he was awarded a high title - Honorary Sports Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Judge of the international category. Since 2007, he has been an honorary professor of the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University; holder of the Order of "Judo Tarlans" of the 2nd degree; Honorary citizen of the Zaisan district. He has been repeatedly awarded honorary diplomas of the republican federations, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2018, at the session of the city Maslikhat, he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
