Kimasov Alexander Maksimovich (1936-2015) - a journalist
He was born in the Shemonaiha district of East Kazakhstan oblast. He graduated Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute on specialty «Teacher of Russian language, literature and history». After graduating he worked as a head teacher in the village school, and then he was the head of the group of lecturers, the head of the House of Political Education of the East Kazakhstan regional party.
Since 1991, he worked as a consultant to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan. In 1997 he was a Vice-President of the National Press Club.
Alexander Kimasov was «Honorable journalist of Kazakhstan» and laureate of the Union journalists of the Republic.
