Azbergenov Akbergen (1980) – poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan.

He was born in Almaty. He graduated secondary school named after E. Rakhmadiev in the village Madeniet of the Ayagoz district of East Kazakhstan region. He graduated the history, archeology and ethnology faculty of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi in 2001. From 2001 to 2005 he worked in the akimat in Almaty. Currently he is working the chief editor of the independent online publication www.ult.kz.
He is a winner of state youth award «Daryn» and «Serper».
