Apashbaiuly Argynbek (1883-1946) – a poet

He was born in the village Akaral of Zaysan district of East Kazakhstan region. He wrote his first product «Song of the Year» in 1894.
He is an author of the novel in verse, a volume of 16 thousand lines, consisting of the heads of «Today, other times», «When the Kazakhs moved from Syrdarya», «My ancestors are Kazakhs», «About Russia», «About the Arab nation», «Land of ancestors – Altay», «Argynbek with pen in hand».
He wrote about the tragic fate of the Kazakhs who were forced to leave the land of their ancestors and about the love for his native land. In oriental motifs Arganbek wrote some religious poems.
He died in 1946 in Altay district.
