Tileuzhanov Zeynolla (1942) – journalist, poet

He was born on 29 November in the Kyzyl kaiyn village of the Aksuat district of Semey (now East-Kazakhstan) oblast. In 1968 he graduated the philological faculty of Kazakh State University (now Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi). He worked in the Almaty regional newspaper «Zhetysu», in the committee cinematography, in the magazines «Zhana film», «Enbek Tany», House of Folk Art.
His first verses were included in the collection of young poets of Kazakhstan «Zhas Keruen» (1969). His books of poetry were published: «Solidarity» (1973), «Tolagay Mountain», « Poem of love», etc. He translated into Kazakh language poetry of many foreign poets, as well as texts for more than 100 films.

Tikhomirov Vladimir Anatolyevich (1957-2013) – poet.

Born on May 15, 1957 in Khujent (Leninabad) in the Republic of Tajikistan. In Leninogorsk (now Ridder) He came to the East Kazakhstan region in 1965, graduated from high school. In 1977 he graduated from the Chemical Faculty of Tomsk Polytechnic Institute. Later he graduated in absentia from Alma-Ata Polytechnic Institute (now KazNTU named after K. Satpayev) with the qualification of mining engineer. He worked at the Tishinsky mine and the mine named after the 40th anniversary of the VKLSM as a sinker, creeper, shift foreman. From 1987 to 1994 – in the paramilitary mountain rescue unit as an assistant to the commander of the detachment. From the autumn of 1994 to 1996, he lived and worked in the Crimea.

He wrote poetry since childhood, actively participated in the activities of the city literary association "Rodnik", was friends with the creative director of the regional poetry studio "Ustye" Evgeny Kurdakov. Poems were published in the newspapers "Leninogorskaya Pravda" and "Rudny Altai", in the magazines "Prostor", "Bratina" in the almanacs "Sinegorye", "Ridder Rainbow".

From autumn 1996 to 2013 he lived in Berlin in Germany. He worked as a system administrator at the Bosch-Siemens joint venture. He was published in the collective collection "Russian poetry and prose in Germany" (1998) and in the literary almanac "Century XXI" (2000).

Laureate and diploma winner of the Moscow International Poetry Competition "Golden Pen".

He died in 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

Titaev Eugene Alekseevich (1957) – children’s writer, poet, journalist

He was born on 29 December in Semey oblast.
After graduating the secondary school he enrolled in medical school.
While he was in medical school, he began to attend literary association «Irtysh lights». His poems, short stories, novels and tales often published in the newspapers, magazines: «Doctor Knock» (Almaty, 1982), «Irtyshanka» (collective collection, Alma-Ata), «Horizon» (Almaty, 1986). Soon Eugene Titaev tried his hand at prose, writing short stories. In 1986 in the publishing house «Zhalyn» was published the book «Tales of my city», which included six short stories – tales. The story – a fairy tale «The Road sorcerers» was published in 1995, in the national magazine «Prostor».

Tlegenov Bekezhan Isagalievich (1934-1998) – a writer

He was born on 10 March in the Georgievka village of the Zharma district of Semey (now East-Kazakhstan) oblast. In 1957 he graduated the philological faculty of Kazakh State University named after S. Kirov. In 1957-1965 he worked in the newspaper «Leninshil zhas», in 1968-1969 as a junior researcher at the Institute of Literature and Art named after M.O. Auezov, in 1969-1975 in charge of the sector of literature department of culture Communist Party of Kazakhstan, in 1975-1988 the chief editor of the magazine «Zhuldyz», the secretary of the Board of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan.
Bekezhan Tlegenov began to be published in 1959. His first book a collection of stories «Dawn» was published in 1965. Then go out the story «Spring Freeze» (1966), «Does spring again?» (1973), novels «White space» (1976) and «Time» (1981), the novel «They met in the summer» (1979) and the novel «Exodus» (1979), selected works «Fatherland» (1986) and others.
