Sakatov Marat Zaideshuly (1947-2000) - director, founder of the comedy theater "Tamasha", satirist.

Marat Sakatov was born on August 27, 1947 in the village of Akbulak (Gorny) of the Kurchum (former Markakol) district of the East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Boran Village High School in 1966 and served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs until 1970. Marat's innate talent has been evident since his school years. Soon, with the support of the head of the district department of culture Zeynolda Omarov and the director of the Drama Theater Oraz Kakeev, Marat's life in the field of culture began. In his early creative years, Marat had the opportunity to work with meters in the field of Markokol culture with such as Turabaev, E. Nigmatullin, Oraz Kakeev, his contemporaries T. Abedimov, A. Otarbaev, Sh. Esetov, M. Shiderinov, N. Kemeshov. He and his wife Aitzhamal have played many roles in plays staged by the director of the Drama Theater Oraz Kakeev. Over the years of working in the Markakolsky district Department of Culture, his skills were honed, acting and directing talents were revealed.

After the departure of Oraz Kakeev from the district in 1975, Marat Sakatov became the director of the Drama Theater. For two years he worked as a director of the Markakol National Drama Theater, staged performances: "Kozy Korpesh - Bayan Sulu", "Othello", "Lost Friend", "Wild Flower", "Abai", "Akan Seri-Aktokty". " and others. In 1972, Marat entered the directing department of the Shchukin Moscow Higher Theater School, from which he graduated in 1976 with honors. He chose S. Zhunusov's drama "Death and Azhar" for his thesis and received a very high assessment from the head of the commission from Moscow, Osakina. In 1980-1982 he worked as the head of the Department of culture of the Markakolsky district. The contribution of Marat Zaideshuly to the formation and strengthening of the Markakol theater "Tamasha" is no less significant. He wrote scripts of satirical scenes and made the audience laugh as a master performer. Marat Sakatov also participated in the National Theater of Enlightenment, the National Theater "Saule" and the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments "Markakol". Later, Marat Zaideshuly worked as a teacher at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Cultural Education School, director of the Semipalatinsk Regional Drama Theater. In 1987, he moved to Almaty, where he worked as an editor of Kazakh television. From 1990 until the end of his life he worked as a director in the entertainment programs "Tamasha", "Bauyrzhan-show" and collaborated with great artists. His uncle Omarov Zeynold and his beloved wife Aitzhamal always helped Marat develop his art. Marat's jokes, which he published in several books during his lifetime, are still used by famous artists. The diligence and courage of Marat Zaideshuly in staging complex performances is an excellent example for the younger generation.

Marat Sakatov died on March 1, 2000 in Almaty.
