Duanov Bakytbek (1959) - Honored Coach of Kazakhstan, head judo coach of the East Kazakhstan region.
He was born on November 29, 1959 in the village of Akbulak (ex. Gorny) Kurchumsky (formerly. Markakolsky) district of East Kazakhstan region in a simple family. His father is a farm worker, his mother is a primary school teacher, an excellent student of education of the Kazakh SSR.
Bakytbek, from childhood was fond of wrestling, in 1967-1977 he studied at the Gornenskaya secondary school. In 1977-1978 he was a student of the Forestry College. In 1978-1980, he served in the army. After returning from the army, the young man enters the Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute (now S. Amanzholov EKSU), the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports. Upon graduation in 1984, under the auspices of the Institute, he began teaching at the children's and youth sports school in the village of Bozanbai. Here he built a training hall for sambo and judo. In 1997 Bakytbek was invited to Ust-Kamenogorsk to the higher sports school. B. Duanov continuously works to ensure that each of his pupils achieved high results in sports.
The now deceased Muratbek Duanov, Master of Sports of the USSR, was Bakytbek's brother, who taught him sports and set an example in life. Muratbek Duanov became the first athlete of the Kurchum district awarded the title of "Master of Sports of the Soviet Union".
B. Duanov's contribution to the development of sports was marked by the titles: Master of Sports of the USSR in Sambo, Kazaksha Kures, judo, Honored Coach of Kazakhstan, Excellent Student, Honorary Education Worker, Best Coach of Kazakhstan, Honorary Citizen of Kurchum and Glubokovsky districts. He is the owner of several orders and medals. During his almost forty years of coaching, he has trained two Honored Masters of Sports of Kazakhstan, 13 masters of sports of international class, more than 70 masters of sports of Kazakhstan and 5 judges of international class. His students became silver medalists of the Deaflympic Games, medalists of the Asian Games, medalists of the World Championship. One of the students who continues the mentor's work is Baurzhan Khalelov. Today, our country is proud of his students, athletes such as Ruslan Seilkhanov, the world champion in judo among veterans. Talgat Amrenov is the world champion in kazaksha kures. Ilyas Izmagilov - silver medalist of the World Judo Championship.
The honored coach is proud of his students, but he considers the main achievement to be the upbringing of young judoists, to whom he instills a love for sports from an early age. They train side by side next to experienced athletes and adopt their technique, skill and tactics.
