Khudyakov Eugene Lazarevich (1906-1964) – a journalist

He was one of the first members of the Komsomol of 20s. He worked as an instructor of the district Komsomol committee, editor of the Guryev regional newspaper «Working truth» (1930-1932), head of department, executive secretary and editor of the newspaper «Food Industry» (1933-1941), deputy chief editor of the newspaper «News» ( 1948-1952), dean of the journalism faculty at the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov (1952-1964). He was a member of the East-Kazakhstan literary association «Link Altay» (1923). He is the author of short stories «Glade», «Pages of the past», «In the battle for the fish», devoted to the nature and culture of the Eastern Kazakhstan.
