Fedot Davydovich Rylsky (1920-1996) was a poet, writer, and journalist.
He was born in 1920 in the village of Alexandrovka, Glubokovsky district, East Kazakhstan region. In 1941 he went to the front. He passed the roads of the Great Patriotic War as a war correspondent. The first poems of Fedot Davydovich began to be printed in August 1941 in the divisional newspaper "For the Motherland" - the organ of the political department of the 68th Mountain Division of the Central Asian Military District. He was published in army and frontline newspapers until 1944. After the war, Rylsky worked as a journalist, having worked in the Soviet press for 34 years. With his indefatigable energy, he put the Verkhubinsk district newspaper "Stakhanovets Polye" on its feet. Creatively contributed to the formation of the Markakol and Shemonaikha regional newspapers. His publications were published on the pages of regional publications. In 1967, he firmly and forever linked his fate with the "Steppe Tavria". He worked as a deputy editor, then headed the newspaper before retiring. Military and peaceful labor F.Rylsky was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, the medal "For Courage", the Lenin jubilee medal. Since 1979, he has been a personal pensioner of local significance.
He died on February 12, 1996.
