Boshtaev (Poshtaev) Mukysh (1897-1921) was a leader of the Alash movement, a lawyer.
He was born in 1897 in Pavlodar district of Semipalatinsk region (now East Kazakhstan region). Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Kazan University in 1917. Under the Provisional Government, he was chairman of the court of Pavlodar county.
Actively participated in the work of the Kazakh committee of Semipalatinsk region (now East Kazakhstan region). At the First All-Kazakh Congress, he was nominated as a deputy from the Alash party to the All-Russian Constituent Assembly. At the Second All-Kazakh Congress, he was elected as a candidate for the Alashorda government.
The life and work of Mukysh Boshtaev, an activist of the Alash movement, is closely connected with the Pavlodar district. M. Boshtaev - a native of Bayanaul – graduated from St. Petersburg University, according to some sources, according to others - Kazan University. He was a lawyer by profession.
Mukysh Boshtayev was active in public life as a student. Together with other students who studied in Russia, he writes a letter to the newspaper's editorial office, where he welcomes the opening of the national newspaper "Kazakh" and notes its great future. Another article in the newspaper "Kazakh", published by Mukysh Boshtaev (1915; No. 111), was devoted to the problems of education. M. Boshtaev takes the initiative to create a cultural and educational society "Igilik", which could help students financially. The article is called "Igilik kauymy". The article aroused great interest among the readers of the newspaper. After some time, the editorial office received a response from Habibola Lekerov, the imam of the Bayanaul mosque, in which an original model of the activity of the Igilik society was proposed. A. Bukeikhanov also shows interest in the young lawyer's proposal. He notes the foresight of M. Boshtaev, the desire to help his native people get an education, to involve talented young people in education regardless of social origin, and to provide monetary and material assistance to those in particular need.
The difficult events of 1916 were also not without the participation of a young intellectual. In the newspaper "Kazakh" M. Boshtaev and other students declare their desire to provide all possible assistance to the horsemen who went to the rear work. They help in the organization of the "Zemstvo Union", a body that provided material, legal and spiritual support to the rear. For this help, they were awarded by A. Bukeikhanov and other figures of "Alash". In Bukeikhanov's article "Maskeu khaty" M. Boshtaev was particularly noted. His articles in the newspaper "Saryarka" are known. M. Boshtaev was an active participant in the All-Kazakh congresses. At the congress of July 21-26, 1917, in Orenburg, M. Boshtaev was elected as a candidate for the All-Russian Constituent Assembly from the Semipalatinsk region (now the East Kazakhstan region). In October 1917, he accepted official membership in the Alash Party. The newspaper "Kazakh" in 1917, publishing lists of candidates for deputies of the Constituent Assembly, gives M. Boshtaev the following characteristic: "a graduate of Kazan University, a young lawyer, a county commissioner." As can be seen from this brief description, M. Boshtaev was a member of the Pavlodar district committee "Alash Orda".
During this period, M. Boshtaev continued to publish his articles on the problems of education in his native Bayanaul, Pavlodar district. M. Boshtaev actively worked on the organization of local Alash committees, the formation of police detachments, as well as propaganda work.

Gabbasov Halel (Khaliullah) Akhmetzhanuly (1888-1931) was a leader of the Alash movement.
He was born on October 1, 1888 in the Chagan parish of Semipalatinsk district of Semipalatinsk region (now East Kazakhstan region). He studied at the parish elementary school, the Russian-Kazakh school in Semipalatinsk (now Semey, 1898-1901). Graduated from Semipalatinsk Men's Gymnasium (08.1901-06.1909). He studied at the Faculty of Law, graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow University (1910-spring 1911, autumn 1911-1915), received a diploma of the 2nd degree. From 1909 to the autumn of 1910 he worked as a teacher of aul schools in the Seitenevskaya volost of the Semipalatinsk district. In the spring of 1911, he was expelled from the university for participating in a student strike. Since June 22, 1917 - member of the Kazakh Committee of the Semipalatinsk Regional Land Committee. Since October 1917, the organization of regional branches of "Alash" began with the active support of local Kazakh committees. The Semipalatinsk branch of the party was headed by Khalel Gabbasov. The provisional Semipalatinsk Committee of Alash included 11 people headed by H. Gabbasov. In 1917, he was elected a member of the All-Kazakh People's Council "Alash-Orda" from the Semipalatinsk region (now East Kazakhstan region). The central issue at the congress was the creation of autonomy. On behalf of the commission, Khalel Gabbasov made a report on autonomy, on the creation of the militia and the People's Council. In 1917-1918 . Halel Gabbasov worked as an editor of the newspaper "Sary-Arka" in Semipalatinsk (now Semey).
April 2, 1918 on behalf of the chairman of "Alash-Orda" A. Bukeikhanov from Semipalatinsk (now Semey) Through a direct wire, H. Gabbasov, as People's Commissar for Nationalities, negotiated with Stalin. During these negotiations, the leaders of the Alash-Orda, at the insistence of V. Lenin and I. Stalin, were forced to recognize "the Soviet government as the central authority of all autonomous state entities in the country." During the conversation, H. Gabbasov complained about the work of the local council, which closed the national committee. We agreed that in exchange for recognition of Soviet power, the Center will grant broad autonomy rights.
In June 1918, H. Gabbasov took an active part in the creation of documents of the Alash Horde: "Attitude to the legislation of the Soviet government", "On the Zemstvo", "On the formation of the Military Council under the Alash Horde", "On the organization of the councils of the Alash Horde in the regions and counties", etc. In July 1918, Gabbasov was elected commissioner of Alash-Orda at the Ust-Kamenogorsk County Congress of Kazakh representatives. In August 1918, he was one of the organizers of the First Alash Regiment in Semipalatinsk (now Semey).
In 1920, he worked as a teacher at the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical College (now the M. O. Auezov Pedagogical College of Semey).
In the period 1922-1928, he worked as one of the leaders in JSC "Khleboprodukt"; head of the operational department of the Alash Regional Agricultural Union of Cooperation; in leadership work in the State Planning Committee of the KSSR; was a member of the Presidium of the State Planning Committee.
On October 16, 1928, Khalel Gabbasov was arrested in Semipalatinsk (now Semey) employees of the OGPU PP. Sentenced by the Board of the OGPU under the SNK of the USSR under Articles 58-4, 58-1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR on April 4, 1930 to 6 years of correctional labor camps. On January 18, 1931, he was sentenced by the Board of the PP OGPU of the USSR to the CASSR, accused under Articles 58-7, 58-11, 59-3 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years of correctional labor camps. In 1937, he was arrested and sentenced to capital punishment by the "troika" of the NKVD.
Rehabilitated on November 4, 1988 by the Supreme Court of the Kazakh SSR for lack of corpus delicti.

Duisebayev Abdulkarim (years of life unknown) is the main member of the Alash party.
In 1914 he graduated from the Semipalatinsk Teachers' Seminary (now the M. Auezov Pedagogical College of Semey, East Kazakhstan region). He was an active member of the youth organization "Zhanar" and the Semipalatinsk regional Kazakh Committee. He was the chairman of the city credit association "Uac" in Alash. He was nominated as a candidate at the Semipalatinsk regional Kazakh Congress. Further fate and date of death are unknown.

Donentaev Sabit (1894-1933) – poet, journalist, member of the Alash movement.
He was born in aul No. 4 of Aksu volost, Kereku uyezd of Semipalatinsk province (now East Kazakhstan region). He studied at the madrasah of Pavlodar. The first poem "Kilim" ("My dream") was published in 1913 in the magazine "Aykap". The first collection of poems "Uak-tuyek" ("Trifles") was published in 1915 in Ufa. In 1916 he worked at a coal mine in Ekibastuz.
In 1916, he was called up to the front line in the Baltic States, for trench work near Riga. After the February Revolution of 1917, he was demobilized. Upon his return, he entered the Semipalatinsk Teachers' Seminary. The poet fully supported the February revolution, joins the national movement under the leadership of the Alash party. At that time, Semipalatinsk (now Semey) It was the seat of the government of Alash -Orda, and Donentaev manifests himself as a public figure. After the October Revolution, Sabit Donentaev supported the revolutionary movement, in his poems called for the construction of a new life, hoped for a radical change in the way of life of the people. In 1919-1933 he was engaged in educational and educational activities. In 1920-1921 he worked as a people's judge. Participated in the organization of the party cell (VKP (b)) in Bayanaul. Since 1923, Donentaev worked in the Semipalatinsk newspaper "Kazakh Tili", where he published his articles, poems and essays. Due to excesses in the policy of collectivization, after which famine broke out in Kazakhstan and other regions of the USSR (including the Volga region, Ukraine, etc.), the wave of repression began, the poet became disillusioned with the course pursued by the CPSU (b) and left the party.
In 1929, he was a member of the Association of Kazakh Proletarian writers.
The author of the poems "Balalykty sagynu" ("Longing for childhood", 1914), "Shilde" ("July", 1915), "Zhamila kyz" ("Girl Jamila", 1915) - about the life of the village; "Ekibastuz" (1916) - about the hard work of miners; "Kazak tiline" ("Kazakh language", 1924), "Alty Zhylda" ("At six years old", 1926), "Azat zhetti" ("Freedom has Come", 1926), etc.; articles "How to understand the equality of women" (1924), "In the world of politics" (1924), etc. Sabit Donentaev translated into Kazakh a number of works by I. A. Krylov, G. Tokai and others.
He died on May 23, 1933 in Semipalatinsk (now Semey) from a long illness.
Since 1930, the best creations of Sabit Donentaev have not left the pages of textbooks and anthologies. The works of S. Donentayev have taken a firm place in Kazakh literature.
In 1950, the Kazakh State Literary Publishing House published a collection of selected poems by Sabit Donentayev. In 1957, the academic publication of a one-volume collection of his works in Kazakh and Russian was carried out.

Duissenbayev Rakhymzhan (years of life unknown) is an active supporter of the Alash movement, a lawyer.
Member of the Semipalatinsk regional Committee of Alash. He was elected as a candidate on behalf of Semipalatinsk (now East Kazakhstan region) and Akmola regions at the Constituent Assembly. Since September 1917, he began publishing the newspaper "Tirshilik", later under the influence of S. Seifullin he left along the line of Bolshevism. Further fate and date of death are unknown.
